False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs get started at NCV level 2 along with the minimal need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

Once the student finishes NCVLevel two, they would then have attained a grade 10 certification. NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade 12.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, currently being equivalent to a Nationwide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV degree two which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.
